I'll show you how to start from scratch, superiorstonecou.
If you're a new customer, you can simply start over. If you've used QuickBooks for a while, you need to create a new company. Before you start, there can be accounts, list of customers and vendors and other transactions that you want to use again so you don't really have to set them up again. You'll just have to export them from your old account and then import them to new one.
To start, you can cancel your subscription if you books are 60 days old or older. If it's less than 60 days old, you have the option to delete your company data.
Let me show you how:
- Log in to your QuickBooks Online account.
- Look at the URL in your browser's address bar. Delete all the text after the last / and enter purgecompany. You can use the sample below as reference:
- Before: https://...qbo.intuit.com/app/homepage
- After: https://...qbo.intuit.com/app/purgecompany
- To confirm, type Yes.
- Select Wipe data.
Once the process is finished, you can start your books from scratch.
If you need to setup your company settings, you can use this link: Get started and adjust settings after you sign up for QuickBooks Online.
