How can I give access to a team member in QBO Accountant to create a note when they have worked on a client file?

There is a new section to create Notes with updates or else when we click on client's name. Team members with basic access can't create notes; What I need to do to give them access to this feature?

Allow me to share a few pieces of information about managing users or firm employees in QuickBooks Online Accountant (QBOA). 


Providing access to any users is broken down into three categories (Full, Basic, and Custom). Within each category, there are settings that can be modified to provide the desired access for the user, such as creating a note when they've worked on a client file. 

 
When any setting is modified, outside of what is set by selecting Full or Basic access, the access level will be changed to Custom. These articles will outline the details: 
 

To make sure this is properly addressed, I'd recommend calling our QBOA Customer Support Team, so they can pull up your account in a secure environment. They will further assist you with giving access to a team member in creating a note while working on a client file. 

 

After speaking with a customer support agent, I'm confident that you can move forward with giving access to users in creating a note on a client file.

Thank You. Changing in "Manage your Clients" from No to Y...

Thank You. Changing in "Manage your Clients" from No to Yes, it allows to add notes, but also gives the user other privileges into the client file; be sure this is what you want to do before make this change,  or call QBO support. Thanks again answering my question.
