How can I reset my quickbook? I want to delete all input and start from the beginning. I am still on the process of trial and error.

Welcome to the Community, @cille_gonzales.

 

To reset your QuickBooks account, it must be within 60 days old (90 for non-US accounts). Let me show you how:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Edit the URL on the address bar. remove everything after app/ and enter purgecompany. For example: https://...qbo.intuit.com/app/homepage to https://...qbo.intuit/app/purgecompany
  3. Click Yes to confirm the action.
  4. Select Wipe data on the next page.

On the other hand, if your account is active for 60 days or more, you can cancel your account directly on your QBO profile and start from the beginning.

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Click the Gear icon at the top right section of your Dashboard.
  3. Tap Account and Settings.
  4. Choose Billing & Subscription.
  5. Click Cancel.
  6. Hit Continue to cancel.
  7. Answer the short survey, and select Confirm cancel.

Start a new company

  1. You can Sign up for QuickBooks Online
  2. Enter your user ID and password. You can use the same user ID and password you used before.
  3. Optional: If you use payroll, sign up for payroll again in the Employees menu.
