We know a way on how to change your accountant's email in QuickBooks Online (QBO), office318.
We'll need to remove your accountant and invite them again with their new email address in QBO. Before that, ensure that you're logged in as the Master or Company Admin. Let me guide you on how to remove them.
- Sign in to QuickBooks Online as a primary admin.
- From the Gear Icon, choose Manage users.
- Choose the Accountants or Accounting firms tab.
- Find the accountant you want to remove.
- From the Action column, click Delete to confirm.
Once done, add invite them again with their updated email address in the program. Here's how:
- Sign in to QuickBooks Online as a primary admin.
- From the Gear Icon, choose Manage users.
- Tap on Accounting firms.
- Hit Invite.
- Enter your new accountant's name and email, then hit Save.
- Your accountant will be sent an email with a link to sign in to your QBO company. Then, they will be asked to create a user ID before signing in the first time, unless they already have an account with Intuit Business Services.
- Once your accountant signs in and accepts the invite, their status will change to Active.
- Hit Next.
- Once done, press Finish.
