How can we get a report of the invoice numbers that have been paid online?

Let me add some information that will help you run a report for the invoices that are already paid and the payment method in QuickBooks Online.

Here’s how.

On the left panel, click Reports.
Search for Invoices and Received Payments.
Click the Customize in the upper right corner.
Put a check mark inside the box for Payment Method and A/R Paid columns.
Click Run report.

Can you provide more specific details of what you are looking for? When you say, "online", are you referring to invoices paid via QuickBooks Payments Merchant Services? On another note, you can specify the method of payment for each customer invoice and then customize your invoices and payments reports with a filter by payment type.

I may be pushing my luck, but is there any way to sort this report? For example, only pull the credit card payments (as opposed to check payments)?

Yes, QuickBooks Payments Merchant Services.

Already generated the report for all payments, but is there any way to sort them or just pull the "Quickbooks Payments Merchant Services"?

Thanks for getting back to us, @medcopies.

We're unable to customize the report to pull the credit card payments. What we can do is to export the report to Excel for more in-depth customization. Just click the Export icon beside the Printer icon to export. Then save the file somewhere you can easily find, like your Downloads folder or your desktop.
