It isn't easy to let go of one of our valued customers, @darrellrperkins. However, when our QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) is no longer meeting the growing needs of your business, I'm here to make this process easy for you.
You can cancel your QBDT Enterprise subscription by logging into the Customer Account Maintenance Portal (CAMPs). Then, you'll have to select the QuickBooks Desktop option and start managing your account. However, before doing so, I'd recommend checking out this article for the cancellation policies and eligibility per product and services you may have: QuickBooks Desktop cancellation policies. It includes details for QuickBooks Enterprise Gold/Silver/Platinum subscription, customer care plans, and payroll to name a few.
Once your subscription or service is cancelled, you'll no longer be able to do the following:
Receive Data Recovery Services for no additional fee.
Continue to use any other service (i.e. Intuit Data Protect, services included with payroll subscription such as direct deposit, QuickBooks Workforce, E-file, and E-pay.).
Use the QuickBooks Desktop Software.
Download payroll updates.
Process and print payroll tax forms.
Additionally, in case you need to return a QuickBooks product, you can refer to this article for the complete details: Return a QuickBooks product for a refund. It contains sections that carefully explain how to return products for various situations.
Please know that you're always welcome to comment below if you have other concerns or follow-up inquiries about managing your QBDT account. I'm just round to help. Take care.
