How do I change register view?

Dumb question.  Somehow I have changed my check register to a list view.  It no longer looks like a ledger.  I don't know how I did that so I obviously don't know how to change it back.  Can somebody please tell me how to change it back.  Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi tara. On the bottom left of your Register please remove the check on the 1-Line box. This will show Register entries in two lines.

I hope this helps.☺

My questions is along this same line.  I have a loan register that opens as a 2-line register.  I always have to check the 1-line box to get the view I prefer.  How can I make it remember to always open as the 1-line view?

Re: How do I change register view?

In Quickbooks online, you go to any register and click on the small gear on the top right of the register, check the box or uncheck the box "Paper Ledger Mode". This will set the View to either Date at the top or Date at the bottom. Next, check the box or Uncheck the box "Show in one line" this will give you the old style check register of a single line view. These are Global changes all registers will look the same if you do this at any of the small gears.
