How do I change the master administrator?

Good morning, @ecadena1.

 

Nice to see you here in the Community. I'm happy to provide you the steps of changing your master administrator.

 

Great news, this is an easy process. Let's get started.

 

  • First, we will need to Sign in as the master admin.
  • Once you're signed in as the master admin, you can either Invite or choose an existing user as the new master admin.

 

To choose an existing user:

  1. Go to Settings, click Manage Users. (Please note: If you don't see this option, you're not signed in with the master admin account).
  2. In the User Type column, check if the user you want is listed as Admin. If they're not, choose Edit to change them to an admin.
  3. Select the small arrow in the Action column to the right of the user. Then you'll click Make master admin.

 

Once you have selected the user as a master admin, the user will receive an email to accept the invite. Once they receive the email, they will need to click the link in it to accept being the master admin.
