Welcome to the QuickBooks Community. With QuickBooks Desktop one of the utilities available is the export and import tools. This way you'll be able to take information out of both files and then bring them over into the new file. I encourage you to check out our article on importing and exporting data in QuickBooks. It'll detail what information you can bring out and import. It's located here. Let me know if there are any other ways I can help.
There are 2 options:
1. Utilize a 3rd party migration tool

Use promo code 20PERCENTOFF at checkout, valid until April 30th, 2020.
2. Purchase a 3rd party migration service.
Do the two companies have different Tax IDs????? If so, you DO NOT want to combine them without talking to your Accountant.
If you do combine them. Also, be sure to make not just a Backup, but a complete copy of the Company File before you make any changes. Be sure to give it a new name so you do not accidentally overwrite it. You may need to refer to that file for tax or other purposes.
