How do I create a report that lists all of the Inventory Quantity Adjustments?

Let's run the Product/Service Quick report, anna54.

You can customize a report for you to see all inventory adjustments. Then, customize it so you can only see adjustments. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Products and services
  2. Select a product in the list, click the drop-down list for Edit, and then select Run report.
  3. Click Customize report.
  4. Proceed to the Rows/Columns, then check the box for Transaction Type.
  5. Scroll-down to the Filter section.
  6.  Look for Product/Service, then select All.
  7. Check the box for Transaction Type and select Inventory Qty Adjustment.
  8. Click Run report

How do I create a report that lists all of the Inventory Quantity Adjustments?

Good day. anniepl1.

The steps provided by my peer above is for QuickBooks Online users. If you're using QuickBooks Desktop, you can follow the steps below to generate the report.

  1. Press CTRL + F (or select Edit and then Find) to open the Find window.
  2. Go to the Advanced tab.
  3. Select Transaction Type from the Filter list and choose Inventory Adjustment.
  4. Hit Find.
  5. Click Report.

This will show all the adjusted inventory items.

I recommend customizing the report to get the specific details you need. You can also memorize it to save its current customization settings. It serves as your record and helps you quickly access it for future use.

However, if you're using QuickBooks Online and can't find the Gear icon, you can press the F5 key on your keyboard to refresh the page.

If you're still getting the same result, we can do some of the basic troubleshooting steps. You can use these shortcut keys depending on the browser you're using:

  • Google Chrome: Press CTRL + Shift + N.
  • Safari: Press Command + Shift + N.
  • Mozilla Firefox: Press CTRL + Shift + P.

Once signed in, go back to your dashboard and follow the steps for QuickBooks Online from there. If it rectifies the issue, go back to your main portal and clear its cache to remove the browser's history or you can press CTRL+Shift and Delete key on your keyboard altogether. You may also try accessing your account using another supported browser.

If I can be of additional assistance while working in QuickBooks, please let me know. I'd be more than willing to lend you a hand.
