There's a way to let your accountant check your data if this is your goal. I'd be happy to walk you through the steps.
You can create reports in PDF or Excel formats, and share it with your accountant. Just go to Reports and select the one that you want to share with them. Reports are the only data that we can download from QBO and be saved in a thumb drive.
The QuickBooks Online is already backed up in the cloud. You can invite your CPA as a firm user if they have QuickBooks Online Accountant, so they can check and make changes on your company data. If they don’t have QBOA, they can sign up for free when they receive your invitation. Or, you can invite them as a Company Admin user instead.

As a CPAthey probably already have a QBOA account for other clients. But as @JessT said QBO itself is only accessed through a browser and logged in - there is no downloadable file for an accountant to work on and then upload changes as there is with the desktop version
