Join nowIs it possible to edit the header on emails? When I go to preferences - send forms- and edit invoices, it's just the template for the body of the invoice (which I have censored here). I would like to change or remove the company name from the header on the email, not the text in an invoice.
Related, is it possible to edit the PDF invoice attachment names to just be the invoice name and not include the company name?
Thank you
Good day @accounting_MHC,
We're not able to remove the header on the email in QuickBooks Desktop. As a workaround, you can manually send your transaction through your personal email.
I've also added this article to learn more about customizing email templates: Create custom email templates in QuickBooks Desktop.

Just let me know if you have another question, I'll be happier to help. Have a nice day!
If I want to do the manual work around, that's fine for them receiving their copy of the invoice, but how can I send a payment link with the invoice? I haven't found how to generate it as a free standing link instead of embedded in the email?
Let me help you remove the company name from the invoice template, @accounting_MHC.
Aside from the steps being provided above, I've found a way to edit your invoice template. This way, there's no need for you to do a manual workaround.
To remove the company name, Let's follow these steps below:
I've also added an article in which you can use in customizing your invoice templates in QuickBooks Desktop: Use and customize form templates.
Please feel free to let me know if you need further assistance in modifying your invoice template in QuickBooks. I'll be there to help.
This is not helpful at all.
Why should we have to use a personal email as a workaround??? We use QB for our business because it's supposed to handle this stuff. I NEED to edit the header in the email. It used to show customer total balance due, and now it only shows amount due for that invoice. I am beyond frustrated at the time I have wasted trying to get it to do something that it used to do.
