How do I email last years Quickbooks to my accountant?

Welcome to the Community, @judyangel123. If you're trying to share last year's document reports through email, you'll need to filter the date of your report first. Then, email them directly to your accountant.

Here's how:

  1. Click Reports in the left menu, then select a report you'll need to send.
  2. Select Last Year in the Report period drop-down list.
  3. Enter the as of date, then hit Run report.
  4. Click the envelope icon to send an email.
  5. Enter your accountant's email address in the To field, then click Send

Should you need a hard copy, you can also select the printer icon to print the page.

If you're trying to share the entire data from last year, it's best to invite your accountant as a user to view your file. That way, it's easy for them to access your data plus you can also upload files to share with them. Here's how:

  1. Select the Gear icon, then click Manage Users.
  2. Go to the Accounting firms section, then enter your accountant's email address.
  3. Click Invite.

Once done, your accountant will receive an email invitation with instructions for signing into your company.
