How do i export all data to a CSV file?

You can't-do that on QBO. There is no way to export all data (QBO company file) to a CSV file.

Try 3rd party app like Transaction Pro Importer/Exporter from QuickBooks App Center if they can help

That's because they don't want you to leave for another product.. If they had decent support and a product that worked properly we wouldn't want to leave.

How do i export all data to a CSV file?

I opened quickbooks yesterday and noticed I did not have Payto info on 2 checks.  when

I went to correct it, I had to reenter the vendors.  I did that and then I don't know what I did but all of my quickbooks register went away.  I installed quickbooks tool and tried to restore my register.  It came back, but stopped on 7/28/2018.  I need to restore thru 2020.

How do i export all data to a CSV file?

Good Afternoon, @Prisjo

I'm here to provide some additional information about this issue. Let's try a few basic troubleshooting steps to help restore your register. Using the Verify and Rebuild Data tool will identify and resolve the most commonly known data issues within your account. Here's how:

Verify

  1. Select Window and then Close All
  2. Go to the File menu.
  3. Hover over Utilities
  4. Pick Verify Data

Rebuild

  1. Go through steps 1-2 from above.
  2. Hover over Utilities and then press Rebuild Data
  3. A rebuild requires a company file backup beforehand because in rare cases the process may need to delete transactions or list entries to fix the file.
  4. The Rebuild will start once the backup is finished.
  5. Hit OK when prompted "Rebuild has completed."

It's that easy! Afterward, locate your register and ensure that it's restored the information. If not, then please let me know.

I want to make sure that you're able to get this resolved as soon as possible. I'll be back around shortly.

You and I share a common goal. I'm here to provide the help you need and get your register working, Prisjo.

I appreciate you for performing the troubleshooting steps provided by my colleague. Did you create a backup that contains the 2020 data file?. If you do, we can restore your company file in QuickBooks Desktop.

If not, we can repair QuickBooks Desktop to fix any damaged components in the software. Then, try re-sorting the list to fix damaged Customers: Jobs, Vendors, Employees, Other Names, Accounts, and Items, as well as other things in lists.

Just follow the steps and details in this article: Re-sort lists

If the same thing happens, I'd suggest contacting our Technical Support Team. They'll pull up your account in a secure environment and investigate what's causing this issue.

Here's how to reach them:

  1. Click the Help icon on the top menu.
  2. Choose QuickBooks Desktop Help
  3. Tap Contact us.
  4. Select QuickBooks Setup&Navigation and select File Setup & Management
  5. Choose Start a Message or Get Phone Number to connect with our support.

I have a link here that provides you with articles about managing your vendor transactions: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/expenses-and-vendors/07?product=QuickBooks%20Deskt....

Feel free to go back to this thread if you need a hand with running reports or any QuickBooks related. Wishing you and your business continued success. Take care always.
