I'd be delighted to help you generate a report that shows only expense via QuickBooks Online.
Generating a report for the expense by the recurring transactions only is unavailable in QuickBooks Online. However, if the expense is created by the affected accounts by recurring transactions you can run and pull up the Transactions List by Vendor.

Thanks for the reply. I am using qbo but still can't seem to get only the recurring expenses each month per vendor. Is there not a way to manually select (with a check box maybe?) only those expenses I want to use to generate the report and ultimately export to .xls?
