Hi there, mrsjeancreativem.
I appreciate the effort you've made to sort this out.
Let's try to run the report on an incognito window. It is to determine if you experience browser-related issues. You can use these keyboard keys to open one:
If the dates are correct, you can go back to a regular browser and clear its cache.
You may also switch to a different browser like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, or Microsoft Edge.
Also, if you want to export the report o Excel or PDF, you can check this guide: Export data, reports, lists, and more from QuickBooks Online.
Don't hesitate to mention my name in your Reply if you need help managing reports. I've got your back!
Did you even try to duplicate this bug?
I can duplicate in incognito mode in Chrome.
I can duplicate in Firefox.
Let me share further insights about pulling up Year-to-date reports in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @mrsjeancreativem.
Year-to-date (YTD) information is useful for analyzing business trends over time. It's the period beginning the first day of the current or last calendar year or fiscal year up to the current (2022) or last year's (2021) date. This is why you're seeing data from 01/01/2021 to 03/06/2021 when you generate a report filtering the Report period.
Since you want to pull up all of the last year's data, you may utilize either the Last Calendar Year or Custom option. This way, you're able to get all the information you need. Please see the screenshot below for your reference.
Also, to further guide you in pulling up sales/income, inventory, and financial reports and how you can customize and memorize them in QBO, I'd recommend checking out this article: Manage Reports Help Articles for QuickBooks Online.
I'm all ears if you have other reporting concerns in QBO. You can drop a comment below, and I'll gladly help. Take care, and I wish you continued success, @mrsjeancreativem.
I see the same behaviour using QuickBooks Desktop, so I guess it is a feature instead of a bug. I bet if you poll most people they would think it is a bug, too! (My spouse agrees with my logic.) Thanks for trying. I'll just have to use Custom date range in order to achieve what "Last Year-to-date" means to me.
I totally agree that this should be a bug. Last year to date should mean just that.
