How do I run owner draw report

Good day, @plsuniversal.

Owner draw is an equity-type account used when you take funds from the business to pay personal expenses unrelated to the business. When you put money in the business, you also use an equity account. Let me walk you through on how to run the owner draw report.

Here’s how:

  1. Go to the Chart of Accounts menu.
  2. Type the name of the account in the search box.
  3. Click the small drop-down arrow beside View Register, then select Run Report.

If you're a sole proprietor, you must be paid with an owner's draw instead of an employee paycheck. Please visit this article for more detail on how to write checks from the owner’s equity account: Set up and pay an owner's draw.

Please know that you're always welcome to post if you have additional questions. I'll be around to help. Have a good one.
