How do you change your billing subscription from a credit card to a bank account. where it says transfer is greyed out

Hi there, @kponger1.

Since the option to update your billing subscription is unavailable in QuickBooks Online, I'd recommend reaching our Customer Support Team to change it. From there, they will ask for your personal information to verify and pull up your account in a secure environment. Once verified, they'll help you enable your account for use.

Also, you can check our support hours to get in touch with them at your most available time.

Here's how to contact support:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online.
  2. Go to the Help menu and then click Contact Us.
  3. Provide query information and then hit Let's talk.
  4. Choose to Start a chat or Get a call.

Additionally, if you wanted to check your previous payment history for the subscription, go to Gear on the upper right. Choose Account and Settings and next select Billing & Subscription, then pick the View payment history link.

Feel free to drop by again if you need further assistance. I'll be around to help anytime. Have a great day!

Your previous advice is not any good. I am unable to log into my QB account as it will not accept my log on information.

Hi, @ingear promotions

Let's recover your QuickBooks Online account by resetting the password so you can get back to business. If you still have access to your phone number and email, we can get back into your account within minutes.

Here's how:

  1. Go to this link: https://c23.qbo.intuit.com/c23/v1945.164/1655964374709933/login?redirect=true.
  2. Click I forgot my user ID or password link on the lower part.
  3. Enter your phone number, email, or user ID, then hit Continue
  4. Check the message to your phone from Intuit or QuickBooks.
  5. Enter the code in the field or click the link to your email to change your password.

However, if you don't have access to all of the needed information mentioned above, I'd suggest requesting an email change to our account protection team to recover your account. For more information about the process, check out this article: Recover your account when you can't sign in.

Once signed in, you can now change the Billing subscription by following the steps below.

  1. Go to the Gear icon, then choose Account and Settings
  2. Select Billing Subscription
  3. Hit the Edit button beside the payment method.
  4. Then follow the on-screen instructions to change your payment method.

For more information about the process, visit this article: Update the payment information for your subscription

If you're unable to switch it, I'd suggest calling our Customer Care support by following the steps provided by my colleague above.

Please browse through this article below on how to change the business information using the Intuit account Portal: Update or change your Intuit Account sign-in information.

This will get you on the right track. Don't hesitate to leave a comment by clicking the Reply button below if you have other concerns. Have a good one.
