How do you know if you have the Real-Time Payment set up on your account? How do I shut it off?

Hi there, Pamela62. Could you please clarify what you mean by 'real-time payment'? Are you referring to an Instant deposit in QuickBooks Payments?

If so, you can check this setup by navigating to the Gear icon, clicking Accounts and Settings, selecting the Payments tab, and choosing the Deposit speed section.

Then, please note that we're unable to turn off this setup. Instead, you can uncheck the days to stop the automatic instant deposit for those days.

Here's how:

  1. Navigate to the Gear icon ⚙, then select Account and Settings.
  2. Click the Payments tab, then navigate to the Deposit Speed section.
  3. Select Change next to Scheduled instant deposits.
  4. Uncheck the days to stop automatic instant deposit for those days.
  5. Select the Save schedule.

This will revert your deposits to the standard deposit speed. For more information, you can check out this article: Get help with instant deposits.
