Hi there, wendy40.

To reconnect the computer on the main workstation to other workstations, I suggest setting up multi-user network again so you can access your company files simultaneously.

Before doing that, you'll need to set up QuickBooks Desktop first. On a multi-user network, one computer act as the hosts and this is your server where your company files are stored.

Here's how:

1. Download and then install QuickBooks Desktop on your server computer.

2. Choose Custom and Network install as the install type.

3. Select 'll be using QuickBooks Desktop on this computer, AND I'll be storing.

4. Follow the instructions on the screen to successfully install it.

I recommend to keep your server computer's local hard drive. By doing this, it makes it easier to share them over your network.

Once done, set up folder permissions on your server computer. This way, to make sure the folder holding your company files has permission to be on your network.

After following the steps above, QuickBooks also installs QuickBooks Database Server Manager on your server computer. This server allow to share your company files with other computers over your network. You'll need to make sure this has been installed.

After that, you'll have to set admin right. Please check this article on how to see the instructions to finish the process and start following step five: Set up and install a multi-user network for QuickBooks Desktop.

You may check this article on how to resolve multi-user issues if you encounter some errors: General info about hosting your company data in multi-user mode in QuickBooks Desktop. This article also provide following diagrams illustrate QuickBooks Desktop hosting modes.

Please know that you're always welcome to post if you have any other concerns. Wishing you and your business continued success.
