How do you set up chart of accounts

To set up your chart of accounts in QuickBooks Online (QBO), we will need to go through a few steps, @mksammons. Let me provide you with the details.

  1. On the left panel, go to Transactions.
  2. Select Chart of Accounts.
  3. Click on the New button.
  4. In the Name field, enter a name for your account.
  5. Choose an Account Type and Detail type.
  6. Add the Opening balance and the as of date.
  7. Then, Click Save.
