How do you turn off the bouncy visual items in the app?

I'm just opening the app for the first time. The bouncing visual features are overwhelming, and they distract me while I'm trying to read titles and understand the interface. The delay is very frustrating and it makes me not want to use the app. Can someone tell me how to turn them off?

Thank you for posting in the Community forum, @gina-twistedspok

To make sure we're on the same page, are you referring to the product pop-up notifications that are visible on your QuickBooks Online (QBO) mobile app? If yes, they're designed to guide and suggest how to optimize your QBO experience. For now, the only way to get rid of the advertisements is by manually closing them through the sign or the No thanks option.

If not, I suggest providing a screenshot. Any extra information is appreciated.

We are looking forward to hearing from you. Have a great day!

How do you turn off the bouncy visual items in the app?

Thanks for replying so fast!

This is on the "Transactions" screen. Screenshots appear to be disabled for security.

The first entry on the list periodically bounces in a way that intentionally grabs the user's attention, and it works too well, especially for neurodivergent users. Many of our team find the app unusable. It's disappointing because Intuit usually has such great software. Is there any way to turn this off?

Following this thread as I am also neurodivergent and find this feature utterly distracting.

How do you turn off the bouncy visual items in the app?

Hello there, @Starbug1. We'll point you in the right direction to deal with the bouncy visuals inside the QuickBooks Online (QBO) mobile application.

Before anything else, know that this isn't the experience we want you to have when using the app. In this case, we recommend sending a feature request to our Product Development Team. This way, they can reevaluate the program and consider your suggestions for future updates. Here's how:

  1. Access your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. On the top right-corner, click the Gear icon.
  3. Select Feedback and then enter your comments or product suggestions.
  4. Once ready, click Next to submit feedback.

Furthermore, here's an article to help you manage customer payments using the app: Receive an invoice payment using the QuickBooks Online mobile app.

We look forward to having you here again if you have any additional QuickBooks-related questions or need assistance managing company files. Feel free to comment below so we can respond to your questions. Keep safe.
