I have a new user that is not able to login. How do I reset her password?

How does an Admin update a users password?

I’d be happy to help get your new user's password reset.  At Intuit, securing your data is our top priority. We always take precautions to protect your accounts and private information. Right now, the Master Admin can only update the user's name and email address. We have a couple of options, the user can reset their password using these steps:

  1. Go to the QuickBooks Online sign-in page.
  2. Select I forgot my user ID or Password.
  3. Follow the onscreen instructions.

 

Or, you can delete and then re-invite the user. To delete a user:

  1. Select Settings ⚙, then Manage Users.
  2. Find the user you want to delete. Select the small arrow icon in the Action column.
  3. Click Delete, then Delete again in the confirmation window.

 

Then add them again in the Manage Users tab.
