How long does QuickBooks take to release a pending Hotel hold charge

Intuit holds funds to protect against the risk of disputes, @techsmile42. However, we don't have a specific timeframe for releasing these funds as this is still subject for review. Let me elaborate on this.

To help expedite the review, please check your email for any requests for information from QuickBooks@intuit.com. This email will provide details about your case and include a link to initiate a self-service process, which can assist us in completing our review more efficiently.

The information requested may include but is not limited to, a copy of your bank statements or any relevant documents you have available. Please ensure to answer all questions from our team and upload these documents to the Resolution Center. For more details, please check out this article: Use the Resolution Center for QuickBooks Payments.

Additionally, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Payments Support team for a comprehensive review of your account. They can also give you a clearer timeline regarding the release of your funds.

  1. Sign in to your QBO company.
  2. Select the Help icon and proceed to the Search tab.
  3. Key in a question or topic from the designated field, then click Contact Us at the bottom of the Help panel.
  4. Choose Chat or Callback.

Just in case you need additional resource materials about using the deposits and QuickBooks Payments feature, I'll share these articles with you:

We appreciate your patience while we work on this. Please stay in touch and let us know in the comments below if you have further concerns about funds on hold. We're here to help if needed.
