How to connect my Lyft Direct account to QB Self-employed

I work as a rideshare driver (independent contractor) for Lyft. As a driver, the quickest and most efficient method for receiving payment is via the Lyft Direct debit MasterCard, which acts exactly like a regular bank debit card and allows drivers to use the card to make purchases, deposits and withdrawals. Additionally, while not required, it is often tied to a personal or business checking account (which, in my case is Wells Fargo) for bank account transfers. However, while the card is owned and operated by Stride Bank National and has the usual 9-digit routing number, the account number listed on my statements is that of my 16-digit credit card number. This presents a problem when trying to add the account to QB SE. In specific, I am able to find Stride Bank in the search field, yet when prompted for the account number, I am unable to enter anything longer than 13 digits in length. Oddly, I have successfully added it to other, similar sites such as PayPal and Apple Pay, but I am striking out when attempting to do the same through QB. Has anyone else run into this (or a similar) issue? Any advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

How to connect my Lyft Direct account to QB Self-employed

Hi Refractor1999,

I'm happy to know you're using QuickBooks Self-Employed in your rideshare business.

As of right now, we only offer a connection for Stride Bank National accounts with the information required during setup. In your case, I would suggest downloading your transactions in a CSV file and uploading them to QBSE. You can do this on a daily or weekly basis to keep your records updated. Please refer to this article: Manually import transactions into QuickBooks Self-Employed.
