Good day, Sonia. To get rid of your terminated employee in QuickBooks (QB) Time, you can archive them from the My Team section.
Before anything else, ensure that you're the Primary admin or have admin access to archive employees.
Please know that archiving your team member won't totally delete their profile in QB Time. It will only remove their personalized settings and ability to log in. If you want access to their historical time data, you don't need to worry because it will remain saved in your account.
Here's how to archive a team member:
- From the left navigation of your QB Time account, select My Team.
- Find the team member you want to remove in QB Time.
- Click the three dots that were aligned vertically on the right side and pick Archive.

Moreover, you also need to ensure that their status in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) Payroll account is Terminated. This way, you can still access their payroll information. Or delete their profile to remove everything without a trace. This will ensure your accounts are in sync in case you integrate a QBO payroll with your QB Time.
