How to switch companies in QBO?

I have a QBO Essentials subscription for one company. I have just signed in with the same ID and Password from my subscription to do a free trial to another company with QBO Plus. I don't see any options to switch companies when I sign in. What am I doing wrong?

If you have multiple companies with the same User ID, you should see the companies listed when you sign in (like the screenshot below). Select the company you want to open and to switch company select the Gear icon on the top.

 

Something is wrong if you are not seeing Companies listed when you sign-in QBO. You may want to contact QBO support and let them review the account setup.

How to switch companies in QBO?

Hi,

I am having issue with this from today morning. 

in the morning I was not able to switch from company 1 to company 2 I was not able to use company 2 and now I can open only Company 2.  I am getting error while trying to use  company 1. 

I tried clearing all cache file, cookies, changing web browsers, using incognito all failed.

after I click on Company 1 on this page,

I get not found error. pls  see the screenshot of error.

Other users in my organization do not have this issue. Does my user account has any issue  ?

it there is any update applied to users account settings ?

Since the error persists after performing the necessary troubleshooting, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Support Team. One of them will need to take over and check your account in a more secure environment.

 

They'll be able to view the details and determine if the issue is account related. Our Customer Support Team is available from 6 AM - 6 PM PT (Monday - Friday) and 6 AM - 3 PM PT (Saturday).

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Help menu at the upper right. 
  2. Choose Contact Us
  3. Enter your specific concern in the What can we help you with? box. 
  4. Click Let's talk
  5. Select Get a callback or Start a chat
  6. Enter your contact information. 
  7. Choose Confirm my call or Send message.
