How to update the phone # associated with the QB acct? Shows my old cell. Tried several times to change it but it wants to send a verification text to the old number.

You can update phone numbers by accessing your account settings.
 

Here's how:
1. Use the Gear (⚙️) icon and go to User Profile.
2. Click Security.
3. In the Phone section, hit Edit, then Change.
4. Enter your new contact number and password. Press Save.
5. Choose how you'd like to confirm your information (Text message or Voice call), then pick Continue.
6. Input the code you were provided with.
7. Select Done.
 

Now your contact details will be updated.
 

The verification codes you've mentioned are requirements for completing this process. If you don't have access to your old number, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care Team for assistance:
1. Click the Help (?) icon.

2. Select Contact Us.
