Thank you for sharing your concern here on the Community forum. I'm here to ensure your QuickBooks Desktop for Mac stops crashing so you'll be able to continue recording your transactions seamlessly.
First, restart your computer to give it a fresh start. Then, update QuickBooks to the latest release to make sure you have all the software improvements and bug fixes. Once ready, run the Verify and Rebuild tool to help fix the issue.
To verify your data:
Go to the File menu, and then select Utilities.
Click Verify Data, then tap OK to close all windows. If you see “Your data has failed the integrity check”, you'll need to rebuild your file. If there are no problems with your data, you’re done.
If there are problems with your company file, continue with these steps:
Go to Files, and then choose Utilities.
Select Rebuild Data, and then pick OK.
Click OK to make a backup to prevent data loss along the process.
Hit OK to continue the rebuild process.
If the issue continues, you need to do a clean install. The process refreshes QuickBooks with the installation files that were left behind during the re-installation process. To learn more, check out this article: Reinstall QuickBooks for Mac using a clean install.
