I am not able to add an accountant even though I am the Master Admin for my account. What is the issue?

I appreciate you for bringing this to our attention, kailash.iyer. 

 

Currently, we have an ongoing issue that a Master Admin cannot invite an accountant. Our engineers are already working to fix this.

 

While our engineers are working for a permanent fix, we have a workaround so you can add your accountant:

  1. Go to the Manage Users page.
  2. Remove the last part of the URL and add legacyusermgt. For example:
    Change https://c9.qbo.intuit.com/app/usermgt to https://c9.qbo.intuit.com/app/legacyusermgt.
  3. Under Accounting Firms, highlight an accountant profile and click Delete.
  4. Choose Yes to confirm the action.
  5. Then, click the Invite Accountant button.
  6. Enter the needed information until you can invite your accountant successfully.

Though we have provided a workaround, I'd still recommend contacting our Customer Care Team. They can add your profile to the list of affected users and keep you updated.

  1. Click the Help menu in the upper-right corner and select Contact us.
  2. Enter the details of your concern and click Let's talk or Continue.
  3. Choose how you want to reach them and enter the needed information.
