I am trying to cancel my account. When I click cancel subscription, it opens a page that says: "See it all. Do it all. All in QuickBooks."Any ideas how to cancel?

We're sad to see you go, Kaitlin, but it's our priority to make the process easy for you. Let's figure out a way to fix the issue so you can proceed with canceling your QuickBooks Online (QBO) subscription.

Before we proceed, I need some clarification on where exactly you're trying to cancel your account, since the process varies depending on where you signed up for your subscription. This will allow me to give a tailored resolution to address this.

Meanwhile, if you cancel your QuickBooks account via a web browser, we can perform some basic troubleshooting steps to determine if it's a browser-related issue. There are times when the stored cache and cookies on your browser can be corrupted, leading to problems and glitches.

To start, access your QBO account using an incognito window to prevent storing browser history. You can use these keyboard shortcuts to save time:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

After opening your QuickBooks account, go to Subscriptions and Billing to cancel. If you're able to do it without issues, clear your regular browser cache for a fresh start. You can also use a different browser as an alternative.

Moreover, if you purchased your account online, you can directly cancel it from Intuit. Here's how:

  1. Sign in to the Intuit Account Manager.
  2. Choose Products & billing, then select your company name. This will take you to your subscription page.
  3. Find the product you wish to cancel, then click Cancel.
  4. You’ll see a multiple-choice survey on why you're canceling your subscription. Once you’ve filled it out, hit Continue to cancel.
  5. When you see a pop-up confirming your subscription is canceled, click Got it.

For more information that details the process, check out this link: Cancel your QuickBooks Online.

After you successfully cancel your subscription, I suggest you open this article: What happens to my QuickBooks Online data after I cancel? It has a list of data availability for your QBO company, as well as export policies if you want to save your reports and other data to your computer.

We hope you'll consider QuickBooks again in your future ventures, Kaitlin. You're still welcome to post here if you have any other concerns with your subscription or data. We look forward to the possibility of serving you again.
