Hi @rtoftness.

Thank you for posting here in the Community!

Currently, the customization to list email invoices that were deliverable is unavailable. Yet, I have a different workaround for that.

Let's use the Customer Balance Detail report as your basis. Customizing the report will provide us the list of open balances and balance.

Here's how:

  1. Click the Search icon on the upper right.
  2. Enter Customer Balance Detail, and then select Customer Balance Detail Report.
  3. Select the Gear icon beside the Export icon. (You can also include the balance or prefer your choice.)Customizing Invoice

You can also save the customization for future use.

I'll provide this article to help you further if you want to customize and save reports, this include to find, run, export to excel, and edit/delete a memorize report: Memorize reports.

Should you ask more, leave a comment. I'm always here to lighten up your load. Enjoy your day!

Thanks for the help. Actually I was trying to format a report of invoices that were undeliverable. Not having this information is a really big deal for us as email invoices that bounce are a continuing problem that eats time and creates frustration. I wrote the question after having tried all the information on the web which none of it worked. You can tell my level of frustration as my typing was screwy.

This seems like something your R&D boys/girls could quickly add as a filter. How about giving them a nudge?

Is there a way for a user to download data and post-process it in Excel or access to be able to form a custom report that would provide information on undeliverable invoices?

I've got you covered, @rtoftness.

It would be my pleasure to help you download report data into Excel for forming custom reports. The steps below will ensure your success with this:

Exporting Lists in QBO

  1. From QuickBooks Online, navigate to the Reports tab and open the one you'd like to Export.
  2. In the top-right corner, click the drop-down ▼ next to the page icon and select Export to Excel.
  3. The report will be downloaded into an Excel file, which can be opened and formatted however you like.

That's all there is to it. These instructions are also available from our awesome guide on exporting reports to Excel for your convenience.

Should you need a hand customizing or exporting a certain report, please know I'm always available here to help. Thanks for reaching out to the Community, wishing you a safe and productive rest of your week.
