Yes, you're right, @tasha6.

 

We're unable to make any changes to an inactive account. After the cancellation, you only have a read-only access to QuickBooks Online data for one year.

 

You have the option to reactivate from the Accounts and Settings page. I'll guide you how.

 

  1. Go to your Gear icon and choose Account and Settings.
  2. Select Billing & Subscription and click the Resubscribe link.
  3. Enter the new billing information. Then, select Subscribe.

You are unable to sync QBD and QBO. They are both living in 2 different realms. You may deploy a private cloud for your on premise QBD to access the data by internet connection, or put your license and company file(s) on a QB cloud hosting.
