I asked this question to Quickbooks and they could not fix. I cannot set up my TD Bank credit card. It says my log in ID is too long. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi there, kevinpoley.

 

You'll want to connect your bank through an incognito browser to rule out the possibility of a webpage issue. 

 

Here's how to open an incognito window in all supported browsers:

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + P for Internet Explorer or Firefox.
  • Press Ctrl + Shift + N for Chrome
  • Hold down Command + Shift + N for Safari.

Otherwise, I recommend contacting QuickBooks Support Team again to have this checked. They have the tools to investigate this further and help connect your bank account with QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

  1. Go to Help and click on Contact us.
  2. Enter the error message in the field and click on Let's talk.
  3. Choose either Start a chat or Get a callback.

In the meantime, you can manually upload your bank data through a WebConnect file. Once your transactions are in QuickBooks, it’s time to match and categorize them.
