I can't log in to payroll through Quickbooks pro desktop 2018 to reactivate an ACTIVE payroll service?

I am using quickbooks pro 2018.  My enhanced payroll service says its inactive and I need to reactivate it.  I click on "reactivate" and it takes me to login page inside quickbooks.  I type in my info and all it says is "oops, something went wrong".. what went wrong??   I go to a website for CAMPS?? and I log in with my u/p successfully.  It then shows me Two username accounts one has my desktop info for quickbooks and other name has my payroll which says it's active and renewable Nov 2020????  There is another quickbooks payroll service fro some reason that says status is "other".  I click on that and I get "oops, we did something wrong"... Plus I can't remove old addresses because they say they're active on billing... I go through all billing and no it isn't active but I can't delete it??

 

How can I log in to CAMPS and see all my service info, but when I log in to payroll service through quickbooks directly all I get is "OOPS"...

There are different ways to get rid of the reactivation alert. This depends on exact error message you received. Before we do any troubleshooting steps, it'd be best to:

  1. Update the release version of QuickBooks Desktop.
  2. Download the latest tax table release.

If the alert is still there, you can refer to this link for the exact message and how to fix it: Update or renew your subscription.

The error I am getting is that the longins and phone numbers don't match

We can reset your password, so your business will get back on track. To get started, you'll need to confirm some information as a security step. If you don’t remember the information, we’ll show you how to find it. Let me guide you how:

 

  1. Open QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). AT the login window, click the I forgot my password link.
  2. Fill in the information on the form that appears.
  3. Click OK. If the info you entered is correct, you’ll receive a code at your registered email address. (This is your “primary email” listed in CAMPS)
  4. Get the code from your email and enter it back in QuickBooks Desktop. QuickBooks will then guide you through creating a new admin password.

 

If you got an error or still need help resetting your password, try the Automated Password Reset Tool. This tool can also help in resetting passwords in QBDT.
