Hi there, smnstyan.

There are times that the browser keeps outdated Internet files that may cause websites to receive unusual message.

I suggest logging into your QuickBooks account using a private browser to see if we get the same thing. Browsing privately disables the cache from saving your browsing data, and it's a good way to check issues caused by a full cache.

Use these keyboard shortcuts based on the browser you're using.

  • For Internet Explorer of Firefox, press Ctrl + Shift + P.
  • For Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + N.
  • For Safari, hold down Command + Shift + N.

From there, go back to Banking menu and start connecting your Amex bank. If you're able to connect and don't have a problem using a private browser, clear the cache of your regular browser. This eliminates the stored files so it helps the browser to function efficiently. If not, use other supported browsers.

In case you don't see your recently downloaded bank transactions in QBO, please check this article on how to perform steps to resolve this: What to do if bank transactions won’t download or there's a bank error. This article also provides on how to fix different error from downloading new bank transactions.

Please know that you're always welcome to post if you have any other concerns. Wishing you and your business continued success.
