I cannot find account

I took over for someone and am trying to find their QuickBooks. I am in their account, but there are no vendors, payroll, etc. Nothing is setup. Any ideas?

There are some factors that we'll need to check to verify why transactions are not showing on the QuickBooks account that you're in right now.


Let me help you get this sorted out. If you have a backup copy of the company file, you'll have the option to restore it. This way, you'll be able to verify if there are transactions entered. 


You'll also need to check if the company file that you've opened is correct. If the same thing happens you can run the file doctor to help fix file-related issues.

If doing this doesn't make a difference, I'd suggest reaching out to our Customer Care Team. They have additional tools to check on this matter and identify the main cause of this issue.
