I'm here to share some troubleshooting steps that can help you resolve your concern in updating your product.

Unexpected issues in QuickBooks are sometimes caused by the amount of stored cache in the browser.

You can try opening your QBO account via a private browser or incognito window. Private browsing will not save any history, so it's a great place to identify issues in the browser. You can use these keyboard shortcuts:

Here's how:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P

If it works, you may want to clear the browsing history of your regular web browser. This will remove previously-stored browsing data that might have caused the issue. Otherwise, you can try using other supported browsers to be thorough.

I'm also adding a great resource to help resolve unexpected issues when using QBO. It contains some links about clearing the browser's cache and adding Intuit as a trusted site: Troubleshooting browser problems.
