Since last year's update, all company data are required to create a username and password for security and compliance with the government.
That said, users whose files contain sensitive data are mandatory to set up. Especially those who have credit card numbers, social security numbers and employer identification will be asked to set credentials when they sign in to the file.
If you’re having trouble signing in to your account, I’m here to help you get in. There are several ways on how to reset the password.
You can recover your account through signing in to CAMPs, by using our Automated Password Reset Tool or simply following these steps:
- From the sign-in page, select I forgot my user ID or Password.
- Enter your phone number or email address, then select Continue.
- Follow the on-screen instructions. Once done, you'll receive an email with your user ID.
Otherwise, you can log into your company file without entering them every time. As long as you're using the same Windows user account, you only have to log in every few days. And you can open the file or switch to another company file without having to re-enter your login credentials.
