Are you able logging in as Master Admin? You can remove any user. Otherwise, you will need a workaround.

Hello, jimmy11.

As mentioned by @Fiat Lux - ASIA, if you're able to log in as Master Admin, you can delete a user so he/she won't be able to log in and see the activities of your account. Deleting a user in QuickBooks is pretty easy. Please follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Settings icon and Select Manage users.
  2. On the right side of the user's name, select the Edit drop-down under the ACTION column, then Delete.
  3. Confirm you want to delete the user by selecting Delete again.
  4. You'll receive an email confirming the deletion.

These steps are sure to help you remove a user in your account.

You may check out this article for more information: How to add, delete, or change a user's access.

I'm only a post away if you have follow-up questions. Wishing you and your business continued success!

Ok so I appreciate the responses but I don’t think you’re understanding.   We are a small company and we’re just sharing the log in & pw.  You would think as sensitive as this info is on Quickbooks that changing the master password would boot all devices out making them re submit a login but it doesn’t.  Have tried 3 times on 3 types of devices; iPhone, iPad and Mac.  How can I force his log out that way when he is forced to log back in he cannot.

Thanks for getting back to us, JimmyWiggz.

We can do browser troubleshooting steps to clear the password saved on the browser or app you are using. Piled up cache  and remembered passwords are causing other users to log back in automatically. You can share these articles so other users can follow the steps:
