I agree with Fiat, one company file is equivalent to one subscription, bairdl29111-gmai.
You'll need to sign-up for a new QuickBooks Online account to create another company.
You may also consider using the Class tracking feature that is available in Plus and Advanced versions in QBO to track your transactions by departments or other segments in your business.

You can post again in this thread if you need more help of utilizing the class tracking option in the future.
Once I have created a new subscription, am I about to have them both under one account? Or link them? I signed up for the self employment one however I’m so new to this all that I’m not even sure I can name this business on that subscriptions. It looks a lot different.
I have added another subscription which was for a self employed however is there a way to link it to the other the business and have them both under one profile?
Thanks for getting back to us,
I'd like to share some information regarding linking your QuickBooks Self-Employed account to your QuickBooks Online subscription.
Linking or having your self-employment version to a QuickBooks Online account under one profile is unavailable. These are two different QuickBooks versions under two different platforms and QuickBooks Self-Employed uses a different style of accounting.
We can go through these write-ups to know more about the difference between the two platforms as well as their unique features:
Switch from QuickBooks Self-Employed to QuickBooks Online.

You can always get back to me if you have any other QuickBooks subscription concerns. I'm always up to answer them for you, bairdl29111-gmai. Have a nice day!
You are only allowed to use one specific email address for one QBSE account. You can use another email address to manage multi QBO accounts.
You have clicked a link to a site outside of the QuickBooks or ProFile Communities. By clicking "Continue", you will leave the community and be taken to that site instead.
