I have been added as a master admin to our account. Intuit sent an email verification to the old master admin. She does not know how to log into her email.

I have been added as a master admin to our account. Intuit sent an email verification to the old master admin. She does not know how to log into her email.

Welcome and thanks for posting in the Community, @alicia12.

 

If the old master admin gets the verification, it's possible that his/her email address was entered instead of yours during the process. If that's the case, you change it with your email.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon at the upper right corner and select Manage Users.
  2. Choose the user you wanted to be the Master Admin and hit Edit.
  3. Under the User Type, pick the Admin.
  4. An invitation email will then be sent to the user to accept the role.
