I have been invited to access a client's QB online Plus account. Do I have to use my credentials to access their account. The link doesn't work.

Let's investigate what's causing the invitation link not to work, dosage.

Once your client sends you an invitation, QuickBooks emails an invite link to your email that has steps for how to connect the accounts. If the link is not working, the invitation may have already expired. Email invites expire after 30 days from when it was sent. In this case, your client needs to resend the invitation by following the steps below:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online as a master admin.
  2. Go to the Gear icon and select Manage users.
  3. Choose the Accounting firms tab.
  4. Select Invite.
  5. Enter your accountant's info and press Save.

See Invite an accountant to review your accounting in QuickBooks Online article for more details about this one. If you can't receive the email, just follow the steps and details in the What to do if invited users did not receive your email invitation article to troubleshoot the issue.

Feel free to visit our User management page for more insights about adding and managing your Intuit product users.
