I have paid for the quickbooks yearly subscription in full. want to clear all my data from last year & start over. any way to do that without cancelling the subscription?
I've got some steps on how you can start over, bluebonnetplumbi.
If your books are less than 60 days old, you can purge your company. Please take note that this can only be done if you are subscribed to QuickBooks Essentials, Plus, and Advanced. For QuickBooks Simple Start, you will need to cancel the account and start a new company.
The process will not cancel your QuickBooks or payroll subscriptions. However, you will have to re-enter the employee's information or historical data.
Look at the URL in your browser's address bar. Delete all the text after the last / and enter purgecompany. For example, you have https://...qbo.intuit.com/app/homepage, change this to https://...qbo.intuit.com/app/purgecompany.
Type Yes to confirm you want to delete your company data.
Select Wipe data.
For books that are 60 days old or older, you will have to create a new company and contact our Customer Care Team since you've paid the annual subscription.
