A warm welcome to the Community, rltrac.

You can create an additional custom field to split your commission on invoices between sales reps in QuickBooks Desktop. Here's how:

  1. From your Customer Center, select the customer's name.
  2. Go to Additional Info and click on Define Fields.
  3. Enter a Label (sample Commission Rate and Split Rep).
  4. Select the columns under Cust, Trans, and List.
  5. Add an amount. You can always change the amount on the invoice.
  6. Hit OK.

After that, you can add these fields to your invoice template. See the steps below:

  1. Click List at the top and choose Templates.
  2. Double-click the template you're using.
  3. From the Basic Customization, click on Additional Customization.
  4. Select the custom field you just create (Com Rate and Split Rep).
  5. Hit OK.

Once done, you'll see these fields on your invoices.
