I have two checking accounts within Quickbooks. I need a report on one account. The report is combing both accounts. How do I separate the two accounts?

I have two checking accounts within Quickbooks. I need a report on one account. The report is combing both accounts. How do I separate the two accounts?

You don’t need to separate your accounts to get the report, @luvinlife47.

 

Your Chart of Accounts is a list of accounts that will be used in transactions to categorize them and create accurate reports.

 

Here are the steps:

 

  1. From the left menu, choose Accounting.
  2. Click Chart of Accounts.
  3. Select your checking accounts that need a report.
  4. Hit the drop-down button beside View register.
  5. Choose Run report.
