May I know if you access QuickBooks over a network or it’s saved locally on the same computer? If the desktop program is linked to a network, ping the server to check the connection.
When performing this task, make sure it’s done on the client’s workstation. To begin, check the name of your server computer.
If you’re already connected to the network, look for the company files by doing a wildcard search. For detailed instructions, check out this article and perform Solution 2: Search for all company files: Company file is missing or cannot be found.
However, if your QuickBooks is saved on the same computer, I suggest following the steps provided in the article above and go directly to this section: If you are accessing your QuickBooks file saved locally on the same computer.
Let me know if you need further assistance while working on the product. I’ll be right here ready to help and make sure you’re taken care of. Have a good one.
