I'm a college student and I have QuickBooks Premier- Accountant Desktop. I received voucher cod at 27 February. Now my QuickBooks quit works and ask for create a company

You'll want to use the Search tool from the Windows Start menu to search for your company file. Let me provide some information and help you retrieve it.

You can perform a wildcard search for all company files by typing it on the search bar. Make sure to include the Asterisk (*) to ensure the search works correctly

• *.qbw (Working Files)
• *.qbb (Back-Up Files)
• *.qba (Accountants Copy Files)
• *.qbx (Accountants Transfer Files)
• *.qby (Accountants Change Files)

I understand that, but i don't have a company, i just learning how to work with QuickBooks. System asks me create a company, I don't understand which one company?

Since you already have the voucher code, all that's left to do is install QuickBooks Desktop Premier Accountant.

In your email, you'll be provided with a sample (.exe) file. Therefore, you don't need to create a new company one. Just download the .exe on your email and use it when you open the student trial program.

Install a QuickBooks Desktop student trial:

1. Open the email you received from Intuit Verification and select please click here to download a .exe file. If you didn't receive an email, contact us for help.
2. Click Download. Make sure to close any open programs you have, then select Setup_QuickBooks...exe.
3. Choose Yes to allow QuickBooks to make changes to your computer.
4. Once the download is done, hit Next on the Install Shield Wizard window.
5. Click Next, then review the License Agreement.
6. Mark the I accept the terms of the license agreement checkbox, then Next.
7. Enter the license and product numbers provided in the email, then select Next.
8. Click the Express (recommended), then Next.
9. Choose Install, then once the install is finished, select Open QuickBooks.
10. Click OK.

The first time you open a company file in QuickBooks, you’ll be asked to activate the software. You have 30 days from installation to complete this task.
