Hi there, @dan257.

May I know the specific error message you’re seeing? This will help me provide a more accurate solution.

When uploading bank transactions to QuickBooks, your file must follow either a 3-column or 4-column format.

If you’re seeing an error, here are a few things to check:

  1. Remove any zeroes (0) from the file, leaving those cells blank.
  2. Make sure there are no numbers in the Description column, and ensure your headers only say "Credit" and "Debit" (remove "amount" if included).
  3. If you're on a Mac, save the file as a Windows CSV before uploading. Also, confirm that all dates follow the same format, like dd/mm/yyyy
  4. Finally, if the Date column includes the day of the week (example: 20/11/2018 TUE), remove it or split it into a separate column.

For credit card accounts, some banks display transactions in reverse (example: deposits as negative amounts). If that's the case, make sure to upload transactions into a credit card account in QuickBooks, not a bank account, to process them properly.
