I'm new to QB online, I do not find the 941 report I need to file by 7/31I've used QB Desktop for years so I'm now lost. Where is it located or is it filed automatically?

Thank you and welcome to our growing family in QuickBooks Community, MikeW3.

It looks like you're getting ready to file your 941 reports, let me help you walk through the process so you can file it without a moment's delay. Just to confirm, have you signed up for e-services in QBO? If so, you'll need to confirm what taxes you need to file and pay for. And before filing the taxes, you'll need to pay for them.

To pay your taxes:

  1. Go to the Taxes tab and select Payroll Tax.
  2. Select Pay Taxes.
  3. Select Create payment on the tax you want to pay.
  4. Select E-pay.
  5. An e-payment confirmation window appears, select Done.

Now, you're ready to file your taxes. Here are the steps:

  1. Go to Taxes and select Payroll Tax.
  2. Select Quarterly forms or Annual forms.
  3. Choose the form you want to file.
  4. Review the form to verify the info, and Submit when you're ready.

Using the instructions above, you'll have the 941 reports paid and filed in no time.

Please let me know if you have any other taxes or other QB related concerns. I'd be happy to help you out.
